Wild Point Island Review

Wild Point Island is the first novel from Kate Lutter. It is part fantasy, part mystery, and part romance. The story takes place on Wild Point Island, a invisible island that only a race of immortal beings called Revenant's can see. They are contained on the island, as if they travel off the island they age quickly and die.

Ella Pattenson, a Human/Revenant hybrid, who was born on the island was banished from the island, along with her twin sister and her mother, while her father was imprisoned.

Twenty years has passed, and Ella has created an elixir that will allow the Revenant's to leave the island and age at a more human rate, though she's using her creation as a bargaining piece to free her Father from the prison in which he has spent the last twenty years in.

She meets a full-blooded Revenant who's there to protect her, to help her, and she is drawn to him like no other. He has no choice but to bond with her to save her life.

The council the governs the island is corrupt, and everyone wants to control the elixir, Ella doesn't know who to trust.

Wild Point Island is a very unique and compelling novel. The Revenant's are a fascinating race, their abilities are quite interesting. Their bonding is also very fascinating. Their mind-reading abilities are both awesome and terrifying to behold.

At the very core of Wild Point Island is a multi-level mystery, with plots twists and turns that you never expected. Also there is a deep touching love story that grasped my heart and never let go.  This is one book you must go buy now, once you start reading you won't be able to put it back down!

I give it 5 stars

About The Author
Kate Lutter believes she was born to write. She wrote her first novel when she was in eighth grade, but then almost burned her house down when she tried to incinerate her story in the garbage can because she couldn’t get the plot to turn out right. Now, many years later, she lives in NJ with her husband and five cats (no matches in sight) and spends her days writing contemporary paranormal romances, traveling the world, and hanging out with her four wild sisters. She is happy to report that her debut novel, Wild Point Island, the first in a series, has just been published by Crescent Moon Press. She is busy writing the sequel and her weekly travel blog entitled Hot Blogging with Chuckwhich features her very snarky and rascally almost famous cat.
